January 2026 | Charlotte AMA
Dear AMA Charlotte community,
A new year has a way of bringing renewed energy, fresh perspective, and a sense of possibility. January invites us to pause, reflect on where we’ve been, and think intentionally about where we’re headed, both personally and professionally.
As marketers, planners, and creative thinkers, we’re often wired to move quickly from one goal to the next. But the start of a new year offers a valuable moment to reset. It’s a chance to consider what we want to build, how we want to show up, and what kind of growth we’re seeking in the months ahead.
Within AMA Charlotte, our board and committees are approaching this season with thoughtful planning and forward momentum. They are easing back into the year with intention, aligning on programming, strengthening our community, and laying the groundwork for experiences that help our members learn, connect, and grow. While January may feel a bit quieter as we regroup after the holidays, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes to ensure a strong and impactful year ahead.
This year, I encourage you to think about what progress looks like for you. Maybe it’s gaining confidence in a new skill, expanding your professional network, stepping into leadership, or finding more balance in your work. Growth doesn’t always come from big, bold moves. Often, it comes from consistent, intentional steps forward.
One of the things that makes AMA Charlotte so special is the people who make up this community. Whether you’ve been involved for years or are just beginning to engage, your presence, ideas, and participation matter. This chapter continues to thrive because of a shared commitment to learning from one another and supporting each other’s journeys.
As we move further into the year, we’re looking forward to creating more opportunities to connect through our events and other opportunities that bring our community together. There’s so much potential ahead, and we’re looking forward to building it together.
