With the holidays on the horizon (cue the freak out that we only have a few weeks left to finish up our holiday shopping. Ekk!), it’s pretty clear that holiday marketing campaigns are in full effect.
Whether you’re ready for them or not, they’re making their way onto our TV screens, Instagram ads, email newsletters, or tempting us through retargeting ads (that holiday party dress you’ve been eyeing? Well, it’s probably going to make its way onto a Facebook ad and soon enough be in your shopping cart. Only me?).
If you’re like me and you’ve been blasting Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” 7-weeks out, you’ll get a major kick and maybe even some marketing inspo out of some of our top holiday campaign picks.
Tommy John
Holiday Comfort
One company that’s making comfy-cozy a staple in your drawers (no pun intended) is Tommy John. With its commitment to keeping your junk in place, it’s no surprise that their holiday marketing campaign reflects its lighthearted nature, which includes a holiday gift guide for men and women, consistent web, social and email campaigns and its latest winter prints that are perfect to get you into the holiday mood.
BECCA Cosmetics
#12DaysofShimmer
BECCA Cosmetics has given a fun play on the classic the 12 Days of Christmas with its Instagram contest - #12DaysofShimmer. The company’s website, Instagram, and other social accounts feature the holiday contest that includes winning some of its fan favorite products like the BECCA x Hatice Shimmering Skin Pressed Highlighter. Let the games begin, ladies!
Burberry
Close Your Eyes and Think of Christmas
Matt Smith, Naomi Campbell, M.I.A., and more...this Burberry commercial is packed with celebs and well, it’s quite mesmerizing if you ask me. The notorious fashion company is making waves this holiday season as it features its above campaign celebs in all of its high end promotions.
Microsoft
Reindeer Games
Microsoft gives us all the feels with this holiday commercial. The company gives us a sweet reminder to celebrate and support everyone - even if that means cheering on your friend as they get to the next level of a video game.
Barbour
Maybe, just maybe...
We’re not crying, you’re crying. Barbour’s take on The Snowman makes us feel like we’re kids again. From the young girl’s fascination with the snowman to the company’s “Maybe, just maybe...” tagline, we’re loving this holiday campaign. It makes us all a little giddy to build a snowman...even if it’s just by creating a custom snowman avatar on their website. Did we mention they’re even offering limited edition Snowman sweaters? Sign us up.
