Content Marketing Specialist

CCG is looking for a creative and versatile writer to join our marketing team as a content marketing
specialist. Our new content marketing specialist will report directly to our Director of Marketing to
support the growth of our organization’s parent company, CCG, and our brand of companies.

The content marketing specialist will be the voice for our branded companies and will create engaging
content to reach their respective audiences. This role is heavily focused on content creation and will
drive all steps of writing projects from concept to execution. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and
has experience creating content. Our content is often heavily focused on technical topics, therefore
being able to take complex subject matter and simplify it is a must. You take pride in your
“conversational” writing skills and you have the ability to engage any audience. You are detail oriented
(and ensure that every comma, colon, dash and semicolon is in the right place), self-motivated and have
a “get it done” attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create compelling and persuasive marketing content to reach different audiences that educates
and engages prospects to become new customers
• Write all copy related to marketing campaigns and sales documents
• Create and conceptualize content for a variety of different mediums including digital advertising,
email campaigns, blog posts, white papers, social media posts
• Research complex topics for marketing content to engage potential customers
• Develop new ways of sharing and producing engaging content to connect with our audiences
• Work with designers to assist in content creation, such as infographics and videos

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
• 3+ years in a content creation and marketing role
• A proven track record communicating products or services in a clear and compelling manner
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent proofreading ability
• Ability to take direction and guidance
• Willingness to learn and work collaboratively

HOW TO APPLY • Complete our online application. • Include a brief letter explaining why you are the kind of person we are looking for and why you want to work for CCG. Max 250 words. • Upload an updated copy of your resume – not your Indeed-formatted resume. • And finally, because so many people think that sending out resumes to opportunities they haven’t even read is a good strategy, here’s a tiny test. When you send in your materials – on the very first line – write this: “Content Marketing Specialist” (quotation marks optional). That’s it. Then start a new paragraph and write whatever else you want below.
